What is now a great bike-path with gentle grades and smooth gravel surface was built in the late 1800s as the Burlington Northern Railroad. It is 115 miles in length, crossing the Black Hills from North to South, leading through untouched landscapes offering breathtaking vistas and the true spirit of the Black Hills.
